CONTEST GUIDELINES

CATEGORY

Original game for any platform and genre: PC, console, HTML 5, mobile, and more.


· Ensure designs and content do not infringe on another company's intellectual property.

· Intellectual property rights must belong to the creator, regardless of any affiliations.

· The game should not have been commercially launched on any platform, including early access.

· There should be no existing publishing agreements with individuals or companies.

PRIZES

SUBMISSION PERIOD & AWARDS CEREMONY

·Submission Period: March 2025 – January 16, 2026 (Friday) at midnight (KST)

·Judging and Top 10 Presentations: January 19, 2026 (Monday) – March 2026 (KST)

·Awards Ceremony: March 2026

Note: Finalists will receive individual notifications about the presentation schedule and awards ceremony.

Dates may change, and we will provide updates as needed.

ELIGIBILITY

Participants must be 14 years or older. Open to students, teams, and companies.

JUDGING CRITERIA

· Create a unique world with immersive settings and a clear core theme to draw players in.

· Craft a compelling storyline that resonates emotionally, whether through direct text or creative narrative techniques.

· Projects with strong possibilities for expansion in world-building, character development, and fan engagement will be prioritized, especially if they offer opportunities for sequels or multimedia adaptations.

NOTE

· Submissions cannot be changed or added to after the deadline.

· Entries must not include board games, gambling content, or adult-only material.

· Entries involving intellectual property infringement, content violations (such as excessive violence or explicit material), or potential legal or social issues may be disqualified, with any awards and prize money revoked, even if already distributed.

The entrant (creator) is solely responsible for any civil or criminal liabilities arising from these issues.

· Entries must meet the criteria outlined in the Submission Category up until the awards ceremony (scheduled for March 2026).

If at any point during the contest an entry fails to meet these criteria, or is found to be non-compliant, it may be excluded from both judging and eligibility for awards.

· Submitted materials, works, and related items will not be returned and will be destroyed within three months after the contest concludes.

· If no entries satisfy the judging criteria, there may be fewer winners than anticipated, or potentially none at all.

· All judging results must remain confidential until they are officially announced.

· A narrative game isn't limited to just text-based formats like visual novels.

· Neowiz will cover the taxes and fees associated with the prize money.
